Mario
Hugo is a designer, and illustrator who uses old books and buys old books,
extracting the thick blank pages. As his chosen medium, he explores the paper
from these old books, texture, the way they smell etc. Then creates conceptual
imagery formed with fantasy and abstraction and portraits linked and twisted
with geometrical shapes, letters. Initiating a combination of ink, acrylic and
graphite. Primarily his works are black and white.
