Ellen Gallagher style is interesting portraying a sense of humour. Taking advertisements from hair product illustrated magazines. Deconstructing text and image, layering plasticine on top of these selected images. I find this image interesting because of the style and approach. Applying (advertisements of hair product magazines, illustrated magazines of other services etc). Bright yellow colours used complementing the background, and the style of layering is effective and simple.

Angus Fairhurst

The procedure of how the image was built up is very thought provoking, Fairhurst uses images from a video capture, which is then translated onto postcards then recopied onto a grander canvas. I am captivated by the method and the different approaches applied. Conveys new ideas, perspectives when building images.

Augusto Aokuso

The process of using screen print with the combination of photoshop is fluid and portrays the image well.  He uses the time magazine effectively with his portrait immersed within it. And the application of his identity imprinted. I find it represented successfully, the white backdrop brings the viewer to focus on his portrait. Layering of text over the portrait contributes to the picture as a whole that I believe makes it dynamic.
