Lens class (Rebecca Hobbs, Tuesday, 11 march 2014) Photo techniques.

Picture 1. Frozen movement
It had taken us a couple of shots before we reached this stage. The aperture was at f/4, shutter speed 1/80 and the ISO 800.
Picture 2. Blur of ISO
Finding the right aperture and shutter speed, was more fluid. We learn't from our previous experimental shots, by dropping the shutter speed down to 1/50 or less depending on our surroundings and lighting we could catch an isolated blurred image of someones motion.
Picture 3. Shallow depth of field
We had taken about two to four shots trying to capture our shallow depth of field. This is our shot we chose as a group, I think the shot taken is alright, but there is alot of room for improvement.
Picture 4. Depth of field
This is our depth of field shot, 'NOW' this was a 'MISSION', compared to our other three previous shots taken above. As we found it difficult to get the right adjustments for our shot. With some help from our lecture we were able to understand and gain insight, the bigger the aperture the deeper our depth of field. And to keep in mind to maintain balance using the see-saw example effect between the aperture and shutter speed.
